Kayak Rentals, Fishing and Tours on the Allegheny

We offer kayak rentals, tours, and fishing on the Allegheny, Potato, and Little Genesee waters.

This area of the Allegheny, not far downstream from the headwaters, is a well kept secret so far. We have two sections here; one upstream where ten foot boats work the best, and the other downstream where longer boats are fine. The fishing is excellent. No big rapids here, but plenty of current to carry you along. This river area is perfect for family fun. Not unusual to go several miles without seeing a house or car. We do see ducks, geese, eagles, deer, bear, and beavers (if you are quiet).

Nearby we have the Allegheny National Forest to the west and the Elk viewing area at Benezette to the southeast. Also nearby is the Kinzua Viaduct, which is really a must see, and Bradford, PA – the home of Zippo Lighters and Case Knives. This is ‘country’, with about a hundred different options for all sorts of activities! We’re in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. There is no end to the interesting and fun things to do around here!

No big rapids – fishing, family fun, and a good time!
